Tim Myers
Writer. Comedian. Lawyer.
Tim Myers is a Chicago-based writer, stand-up comedian and recent graduate of the Ohio State Moritz College of Law, seeking to parlay these seemingly disparate abilities into a career.
He has the distinct honor of being a staff writer at Frontier Psychiatrist, an online arts and culture journal averaging 30,000 visitors each month whose content has been promoted by outlets and professionals as diverse as Pulitzer Prize Winner Junot Diaz, Brooklyn Brewery, Stereogum, Oscar-Nominated Director Whit Stillman, as well as several record labels and venues in Chicago, New York, and beyond. He has made a name for himself at Frontier Psychiatrist writing humorous essays, reviewing music and comedy, and conducting interviews with artists and comedians.
As a stand-up comedian, He can be seen performing stand up at shows and open mics across the Midwest, including an upcoming appearance at the Columbus Comedy Festival.
At Ohio State, he rose through the ranks of The Ohio State Criminal Law Journal, mastering the art of citation and grammar as Managing Editor of the journal. He will gladly explain to you the difference between hyphens, en dashes, and em dashes.
But mostly, Tim Myers is a nerd, mainly in the sense that he is passionate about ALL of these things and pursues them almost compulsively in hopes of honing his knowledge and expertise. Check out samples of his work and upcoming projects and shows here.
